Shhhh! My Cyndi's Secrets!

My Dear Friends,

spotlight-star

STARGLOW SPOTLIGHT: Winn Claybaugh (founder and co-owner of Paul Mitchell schools)

This holiday season I have a few important questions. Are you naughty or are you nice?!? Which is better?  Now I’m not talking about naughty in the “playful mischief” sense of the word because that’s a no brainer. We like to have healthy feisty fun on this page. A little “naughty” is “nice”. I’m talking about a cutthroat world where people justify walking over each other to get what they want. This mean spirited behavior is often accepted by the notion that you are “just doing business” or “it’s nothing personal”.  More and more people in our society are rewarding naughty behavior as if it is a strong attribute. We turn to “My Cyndi’s Secrets – Shhhh”™ member Winn Claybaugh (Paul Mitchell Schools) for his take on this debatable topic. Winn excels at demonstrating inner joy and a drive to help others be their personal best. For this reason he is in today’s STARGLOW SPOTLIGHT

Find out why Winn says, “Be Nice or Else!”

Your little Cyndi Sleuth got the scoop…………….Psssssst! Come with me!Winn Claybaugh (640x480)

(NEW easy comment box – Please leave your feedback at the bottom)

Winn Claybaugh is the founder and co-owner of hair care giant Paul Mitchell’s schools. You may wonder why I’m turning to Winn for insight into the naughty vs. nice debate.  Simple – Winn is the author of the bestselling book “Be Nice or Else and what’s in it for you?” He is a major proponent of the philosophy that to succeed in business and in life it pays to be nice. Who am I to argue with him?  Today over 100 Paul Mitchell Schools inspire confidence and success by providing opportunities for students to develop their skills while exploring their creative and professional possibilities. This is achieved by being nice. At first I wondered whether this was merely a marketing image. However, after getting to know Winn a bit better I must confess that this man walks the talk. Winn Claybaugh is NICE!!! Consequently people want to be nice back. It’s reciprocal.  Now, this is not a wuss approach to life. No way! Trust me, Winn Claybaugh does not let people walk all over him. He is a “Winn”er! His book Be Nice (Or Else!), outlines the culture and philosophy practiced by every Paul Mitchell School. As a speaker, consultant and facilitator of thousands of seminars, he has helped countless businesses build their brands and create healthy, safe, and loving workplace cultures. A self taught entrepreneur, his successful business model became the new industry standard that restored integrity in the beauty school industry. Under his leadership, the Paul Mitchell Schools annual “FUNraising” campaign has raised over $11.2 million for numerous charitable organizations.

You may recall seeing my video interview with Winn in a recent “My Cyndi’s Secrets – Shhhh!™” infotainment report. He was awarded the humanitarian award from the charity FRIENDLY HOUSE that helps women who are recovering from drug and alcohol abuse. I think his valuable message is worth repeating. Click the video below to hear what he has to say about his philosophy and his book. Winn radiates JOY!
